In some situations you may not be required to pay rent for the period or be put up in a hotel but again all.very dependent on the specifics.

It isn’t legal to rent or sell any house with black mold. That stuff is deadly. Seen houses on YOUTUBE that looked very nice but they needed fixing and updating.Some were farm houses near the border with Canada.
You could see it is a very beautiful place to live with the mountains and in the distance you see the water falls. But no one can live there. Don’t know if it could be cleaned up or too expensive to try. But the whole place has black mold it seems to grow. If he is renting
